Daniela is a criminal lawyer with solid judicial experience.

She assists and defends company directors and entrepreneurs in criminal proceedings for corporate, bankruptcy, tax, environmental, accident prevention and public administration offences.

Litigation activities cover every area of criminal law, from crimes against the person and property to specialised areas such as the environment, safety at work, town planning, information technology, anti-money laundering, privacy and medical liability.

She is particularly experienced in the defence of entities in legal proceedings for administrative liability arising from offences ex D.Lgs. 231/01.

Prior to joining WST, Daniela gained experience in leading law firms where she had the opportunity to participate in high-profile trials and develop skills in handling complex cases. Subsequently, she founded her own firm, consolidating her role as an expert consultant for companies and professionals in corporate criminal law.

She has developed a marked specialisation in criminal issues related to business activities, dealing with compliance through risk assessment activities, preparing and updating organisation, management and control Models pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/01, and providing consultancy and training services for international companies and groups.

She holds positions as Chairman and Member of Supervisory Bodies of leading companies, including public companies.

She is a whistleblowing manager.

She is on the national list of Independent Evaluation Bodies (OIV).

Daniela graduated with top marks in Law from the Sapienza University of Rome, holds a PhD in Law and Criminal Procedure and obtained a Diploma of Specialisation in Legal Professions with top marks.

Moreover, she is a Professor at the School of Specialisation for the Legal Professions at the Sapienza University of Rome.

She is the author of numerous publications on criminal procedural law and contributes to leading legal journals in the field.
