Simona, a lawyer and statutory auditor, mainly provides ordinary and extraordinary tax assistance and advice, both nationally and internationally, to corporate groups, including listed companies, and more generally to industrial and commercial enterprises operating in various business areas. Fashion and luxury is the sector in which she has gained considerable experience over more than thirty years.

Over the years, she has provided advice on tax compliance, tax due diligence and tax structuring, and has consolidated her specific expertise in extraordinary transactions and M&A.

She assists clients in their dealings with the tax authorities, with a particular focus on the pre-litigation phase (rulings, tax assessment procedures, etc.), as well as during audits conducted by the tax police.

She also deals with personal taxation with regard to cross-border issues and generational transfers, as well as tax aspects related to corporate crisis management, including tax transactions.

For many years, she has held positions as a member/chair of the Board of Statutory Auditors and the Board of Auditors at major companies and entities, including publicly owned ones, as well as a member/chair of the Supervisory Board of leading companies.

Before joining WST, Simona worked for over 20 years at one of the Big Four firms, becoming a partner, and more recently as a partner at two leading tax and legal firms.
