I have extensive experience in the major areas of tax law and provide tax advice to Italian and multinational financial, industrial and commercial companies operating across various sectors, with a focus on the real estate and securitisation sectors, where I have acquired significant experience. 

I provide consultancy in relation to M&A and Restructuring transactions, including cross-border, P.E. issues, financing structures for the acquisition and/or management of assets held by foreign investors, tax optimization of intercompany flows (focusing on intercompany cost sharing agreements, transfer pricing policies, VAT profiles of intercompany transactions, etc.). 

Before joining WST (formerly Fieldfisher Italy), I worked for several years as a tax consultant at one of the “Big Four”; during this time, I also spent a year at the Italian tax desk in New York. 

I then became the Italian tax manager of one of the main international investment banking firms for more than ten years, where I acquired specific know-how in the field of taxation of financial intermediaries and was the Italian tax contact for the analysis and management of tax implications arising from the investment and holding of financial instruments and real estate by foreign investors (i.e. units of undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities UCITS, shares in Italian real estate funds REITs, hybrid financial instruments etc.). 

I am a member of the boards of auditors of corporations operating in various business sectors. 

I have written various publications on domestic and international tax issues and have been a speaker at tax conferences.
